That’s quite alright. Yes, very true, especially considering the priest garb and accoutrements many years prior. But he made a point of pulling it out and dangling the crucifix in front of the audience while singing “we will not be silenced”. And let’s not forget that the song involves a Catholic house of worship and implies that it was a target of arson. Heavily symbolic stuff.
